📏 Emerald Blinds and Curtains – Measurement Protection Policy
At Emerald Blinds and Curtains, we understand that measuring for blinds and shutters can sometimes go wrong — even with the best intentions. That’s why we offer our Measurement Protection Guarantee, designed to give you peace of mind when ordering custom products online.
✅ What is the Measurement Protection Guarantee?
Our Measurement Protection Guarantee allows you to request a free size remake of your blind or shutter if you’ve measured incorrectly, provided you selected the protection at the time of purchase.
This guarantee covers size mistakes only. It allows you to get a replacement of the same product, using the updated correct measurements, without paying again for the full item.
🛠️ What’s Included

A one-time free remake of the same product with corrected measurements.

Applies only to blinds and shutters.

If the revised size leads to a higher price, you’ll simply pay the difference in cost.

If the new size is smaller and would cost less, no refund is given for the price difference.

If the new size is significantly smaller than the original, we may attempt to alter the product instead of manufacturing a new one (where possible).

Delivery charges for the replacement product will still apply.
📦 Return of Original Product
To qualify for a remake:

The original item must be returned to us in its original packaging and in undamaged condition.

You are responsible for arranging the return and covering the shipping costs.

If the returned item or packaging is damaged or missing, we reserve the right to cancel the remake and no refund will be given for the protection.
🕒 Time Limit
You must notify us of the corrected measurements within 10 working days of receiving your order to activate the guarantee.
📦 If Your Item Is Out of Stock
If your product is temporarily out of stock when you activate your Measurement Protection Guarantee, you have two options:

Wait until the item is back in stock and we’ll process the remake once available.

Cancel the remake and receive a refund of the Measurement Protection fee (note: this does not apply to the original item).
❌ What’s Not Covered

Any order where Measurement Protection was not selected at checkout.

Changes to fabric, colour, headrail style, or other product features — the remake must match the original.

Shutters or blinds returned after the 10 working day notification period.

Items returned damaged or not in original packaging.

Any further remake requests — the guarantee covers only one remake per protected item.
🧾 How to Activate the Guarantee
To begin a claim under the Measurement Protection Guarantee:

Package the original item carefully in its original packaging.

Arrange return delivery to the address below.

Once we receive and inspect the item, we will proceed with the remake or contact you if any further steps are required.
